From Bangkok to Yangon
I chose this piece because it sounds beautiful even without accompaniment and because Yangon has lots of British like architecture. However, I was in a hurry to catch my plane so I couldn't do a retake. I had some audience who told me that it was a good performance. They are studying the Bible at a protestant College. I told them I was a graduate of Silliman University, a protestant school. I forgot to leave them my name. I hope they'll find this video

The Local Train
Since I decided to stay within Yangon for the duration of my vacation my German friend suggested that I visit the Pagodas and National Museum and not to miss riding the train which goes around the city.
However, the train didn't go around the city. It stopped somewhere near the airport and went back the opposite direction. Along the way you can see old buildings and lots of garbage, however, after an hour we reached the outskirts of Yangon. The surroundings are full of vegetations and clean, and then it stopped. I changed my seat on the way back and saw the contrast of squalor and modernisation of the city. The birds were happily flying around. I felt sad because I could imagine that in less than a decade, there is a possibility that these animals will be deprived of their habitats. EastsideChurches |
