3/4 glass of 100% tomato juice
1 tbsp of apple vinegar (or any vinegar)
A pinch of salt
1 tbsp of honey (dissolved in 2-3 tbsp of hot water)
some ice
Add all ingredients. Stirr well and serve.
Note: 1 tbsp of vinegar a day gives you resistance to this hot summer.
2. Fruits and VegetablesIf available and cheap, always have some of these watery fruits and vegetables:
1. Watermelons
2. Melons
3. Cucumber.
4. Eggplant. I thought eggplants can only be eaten cooked and mostly deep fried but I was wrong. I found this recipe: Eggplant salad.
Cut 2 small eggplants into 2 and slice them thinly.
Add half a tables spoon of salt and gently squeeze them at first then squeeze harder to remove the liquid.
Dissolve a maggi cube in 2 tablespoons of hot water. Add a teaspoon of mustard and mix well.
Add this to the eggplant.
Top it with some grated daikon radish, sesame seeds and a teaspoon of minced green onion.
Optional: add soy sauce to taste.
